Club roles and responsibilities

Treasurer

Role description:

To maintain the club accounts, allocate funding that the club generates and pay club expenses. The treasurer will also be responsible for collecting club membership fees and pay club expenses.

Responsible to:

The club committee and the chairperson.

Experience and skills required:

Organisational skills and record keeping. The treasurer must be an honest individual and be prepared to make financial decisions that affect the club.

Commitment required:

Attending committee meetings (once every two months) and produce the quarterly and annual club accounts.
