Club roles and responsibilities

Secretary

Role description:

To take responsibility for arranging club committee meetings and the annual general meeting. The secretary will take and produce minutes of meetings and distribute them around the committee and club membership. They will be responsible for administrative tasks.

Responsible to:

The club committee and the chairperson.

Experience and skills required:

Organisation skills and the ability to delegate tasks fairly. They will be required to make decisions that affect the club.

Commitment required:

Attending committee meetings (once every two months) and produce minutes of meetings in a timely fashion.
